Future Fluent is partnering with an established accounting firm in Geelong who are looking for Junior to mid-level Accountants to join their growing firm. The company offers annual salary reviews, flexible working arrangements and a robust incentive schemes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of financial statements, tax returns, business activity statements (BAS), and cash flow forecasts
- Meet deadlines, update job progress, and liaise with managers
- Research and propose solutions for tax matters
- Communicate with clients as directed and support junior team members
- Participate in team initiatives and complete administration tasks
Qualifications & Experience
- Has completed a Bachelor of Accounting, Commerce (major in Accounting), or Business (major in Accounting) or similar qualification allowing entry to CA/CPA programs.
- 1+ years of experience working in a public accounting practice.
- Working towards completion or willingness to commence CA/CPA.
- Experience using Accounting software, including Xero, MYOB, Reckon.
- Exposure to different entity types, including individuals, trusts, companies and super funds (desirable)
