We are seeking a Catering Assistant to join our team. As a member of the Catering team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food and providing excellent dining service to residents.
* Providing resident meal service including assisting with meal preparation and providing a quality dining experience
* Supporting peers and maintaining a cooperative team spirit
* Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents, closely following all policies and procedures
Essential Requirements:
* A passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly
* Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
* Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) - desirable but not essential
* Good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene
* Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people
