About the role
We are seeking a qualified and reliable Security Officer to support operations within an aviation-related construction environment. The successful candidate must meet all compliance obligations and be eligible to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
Duties consist of but are not limited to
* Ensure all doors within the service area are secured unless under direct supervision
* Secure all locks and hoarding systems to prevent unauthorised access
* Conduct end-of-shift inspections, including:
* Checking for unattended tools and ensuring they are securely stored
* Confirming the site is fully secured and all door locking mechanisms are operational
Key Requirements
* Full Australian work rights
* Valid South Australian Security Licence
* Proficient use in UHF radio communications
* Valid ASIC (or willing to obtain)
* Valid driver's licence
* Valid First Aid and CPR certificates (or willing to obtain)
* Valid General Construction Card (White Card) (or willing to obtain)
Skills & Attributes
* Excellent communication and reporting skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to follow structured procedures
* Physically fit and able to conduct patrols
* Reliable, professional, and safety-focused
