Job Title: Employment Lawyer
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced employment lawyer to join our team. Our practice specializes in all areas of employment dispute resolution, representing employees and employers in contentious disputes.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in employment law and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
* Liaise with clients to understand their case issues
* Manage expectations independently; seeking guidance where appropriate
* Conduct and manage new client matters including providing legal advice and representation
* Maintain regular and open communication with clients
* Liaise with other senior lawyers, counsel and external experts as required to clarify and resolve complex legal issues
* Supervise, mentor and support junior lawyers when required
Requirements
A minimum of 1 year post-admission experience in an employment focused or contentious disputes law practice is preferred.
You should have developed drafting skills, possess an eye for detail and have a good knowledge of and a keen interest in employment law.
