Policy & Partnerships Manager | Drive Policy Influence – Asia Pacific Region
The Nature Conservancy is seeking an experienced and dynamic policy professional for a critical 6-month contract.
You will work with a diverse, mission-driven team to advance TNC global conservation goals across the Asia Pacific region by strengthening policy influence and mobilising public funding for nature and climate.
Responsibilities
Policy Planning & Capacity Building:Project-manage the Asia-Pacific policy exercise to develop policy engagement workplans for country programmes, including scoping training needs and supporting delivery of training plans.
High-Quality Policy Communication:Provide timely policy briefs, talking points for senior leaders, and tailored policy analysis in response to requests from country programmes.
Strategic Engagement Support:Support the region's relationships with key decision-makers to advance policy influence and mobilise public funding for nature and climate.
Partnership Network Coordination:Coordinate and implement the 6-month workplan for the AP Partnerships Network, including leading knowledge-exchange events.
Regional Intelligence:Maintain a repository of policy materials and share monthly updates on AP region policy developments, targeted to the relevant audience.
Qualifications
Proven experience working with a range of international, NGO, corporate, and government partners.
Familiarity with the social, economic, and political issues across the Asia Pacific region.
Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and direct complex projects.
Bachelor's degree and/or 7+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent).
Fluency in English is essential; multi-lingual and multi-cultural experience is highly valued.
