About the Role Our Brisbane office is currently seeking to appoint a Principal Engineer – Civil with significant engineering design experience, strong communication skills and the desire to lead and mentor both locally and nationally. This is a pivotal role with the Brisbane Civil team to support the successful delivery of complex high‑risk projects, provide technical expertise, develop and mentor a team.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
Chartered member (CPEng) of Institute of Engineers Australia
Ideally 15+ years demonstrated experience in civil engineering
Demonstrated experience at a senior level with strong negotiation and leadership skills
Strong understanding of civil construction industry
An innovative and out of the box attitude to solutions and designs
Ability to critically assess, interpret and communicate information of a complex nature
Ability to develop and mentor staff
