What We Need From You
* Nursing background or strong experience in complex disability support
* Certificate III or IV in Disability, Aged Care, or Community Services
* Manual handling and medication support training (or willing to complete)
* NDIS Worker Screening Check, WWVP card, Police Check (current)
* Full Australian Driver's licence and reliable vehicle with rego & insurance
* First Aid and CPR
* NDIS Orientation Module completed
The job involves supporting individuals with complex care needs at home and in the community. This includes personal care tasks like showering, toileting, dressing, and eating, as well as high physical support such as hoisting, bowel care, and PEG feeding. You'll assist with medication administration and medical needs, provide domestic support like cooking, cleaning, and maintaining safe environments, and help with community access for appointments, social outings, and advocacy. Additionally, you'll write clear and honest shift notes and incident reports, and manage behaviors using appropriate tools rather than guesswork.
