The Role
Under the broad direction of the Chief Risk Officer and the Director Risk, Policy and Compliance, the position is responsible for ensuring the Department of Health's risk, policy, and compliance systems meet organizational needs. Responsibilities include:
* Enhancing clinical care, quality, and safety through the implementation and improvement of risk, policy, and compliance systems, including governance, standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines for managing patient safety information.
* Developing strategies and plans, managing resources, and leading a team that delivers specialist services, expert advice, and targeted programs to stakeholders across the DoH.
* Managing operational delivery by designing, implementing, and evaluating innovative solutions aligned with strategic directions, legislative requirements, and promoting continuous improvement.
As a senior member of the Office of the Chief Risk Officer, you will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver accurate, reliable, and targeted outcomes that meet national standards and focus on statewide system improvement.
Details of Appointment
This is a permanent, full-time day position working 76 hours per fortnight, with start date as soon as possible. Hours may be negotiated.
Salary: $139,470 - $148,863 per annum, with an additional 11.5% superannuation contribution.
