Electrician – Automation Equipment
We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join our growing automation maintenance team based in Redbank.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with fault-finding experience looking to work in a structured environment with routine maintenance tasks and system monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform diagnostic testing and fault finding on automated equipment.
* Follow preventative maintenance schedules.
* Troubleshoot mechanical jams, electrical faults, and system errors.
* Monitor and respond to issues flagged through SCADA systems.
* Use maintenance software (such as MEX) to schedule and log tasks.
Requirements:
* Current Electrical trade qualification.
* Queensland Electrical Licence (Contractor or Supervisor).
* Strong fault-finding skills on PLC-controlled equipment (basic level okay).
* Experience with preventative maintenance in an industrial or automation setting.
* Valid driver's licence.
