Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Governance and Compliance Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing governance and risk frameworks across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and maintain governance and risk management frameworks that align with organisational objectives.
* Coordinate policy reviews, internal controls, and regulatory compliance activities to ensure seamless operation of business processes.
* Provide strategic advice on legal matters, privacy, fraud prevention, and public interest disclosures to ensure the organisation's integrity and reputation.
* Oversee the Audit and Risk Committee, ensuring timely reporting and implementation of recommendations.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date strategic and operational risk registers to inform decision-making.
Requirements
* Proven experience in governance, risk management, and compliance within a similar role.
* Advanced degree in a relevant field, such as law, business administration, or finance.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
