MULESOFT DEVELOPER | MULESOFT (ESSENTIAL), INTEGRATION, JAVA | REMOTE | $550 A DAY + GST | AUSTRALIAN OR NEW ZEALAND CITIZEN OR PERMANENT RESIDENT
Sirius Technology is working with a large, enterprise-scale organisation making a significant investment in its integration capability. This role sits within a mature engineering practice where MuleSoft is the core integration platform, supporting complex, business-critical systems across the organisation.
As a MuleSoft Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building and enhancing integrations on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. You will work closely with architects, analysts and engineers, contributing hands‐on to delivery while championing best practices around API design, security and performance.
Responsibilities
* Design, develop and deploy integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform across cloud, on‐prem and hybrid environments
* Build and maintain RESTful and SOAP APIs following MuleSoft and enterprise integration best practices
* Collaborate with solution architects to ensure MuleSoft implementations align with target architecture
* Support backlog refinement, delivery planning and Agile ceremonies
* Mentor junior MuleSoft developers and promote consistent integration standards
* Proactively manage quality, security, performance and reliability of MuleSoft integrations
Skills
* Strong, hands‐on MuleSoft experience (essential) including API‐led connectivity
* Solid Java background with experience in REST/JSON and SOAP/XML integrations
* Deep understanding of integration patterns, microservices and API lifecycle management
* Experience deploying MuleSoft solutions across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or OpenShift)
* Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling (Git, Jenkins, Maven)
* Confident communicator able to work across technical and non‐technical stakeholders
