This specialist petro-chemical company is located in Derrimut and has been operating for decades and is currently going through a period of unprecedented growth. Shift Times: 6:00am - 2:30pm Mechanical Fitter: $56.67 P/H Position Description - Working in tandem with both boilermakers and electricians to assemble fuel tanks for the aviation industry. - Interpreting and determining appropriate steps in fabrication and assembly from both written plans and an adaptive mindset. - Conducting regular inspections with regard to safety and functionality of all tools and machinery. - Regular and skilled use of various hand tools. - Identifying and documenting any malfunctions or safety concerns for appropriate action. Criteria - Must have qualified industry experience as a mechanical fitter (Highly Regarded). - Must have electrical and pneumatic system experience (Highly Regarded). A strong work Ethic - Punctual, reliable and motivated. - Work well within a team. - Full working rights in Australia (Essential).
