Job Overview
Full‐time forklift and access equipment field service technician role based in South Australia with a national company. The position provides extensive training, a comprehensive benefits package, and hands‐on work with a variety of forklifts and machinery.
Hours and Compensation
Standard Monday to Friday schedule (7:00am–3:30pm), with travel time paid from the moment you leave home to the job site. Roster includes 9‐day fortnight (every second Friday off) and one day off per month, with hours made up during other working days. Possible overtime is paid at penalty rates. Salary is up to AU$53 per hour, plus superannuation.
Responsibilities
* Diagnosing & troubleshooting forklift & access equipment breakdowns.
* Conducting scheduled servicing and preventive maintenance.
* Performing component change‐outs, maintenance, and technology upgrade work.
* Carrying out warranty work.
* Autonomously managing jobs while on the road.
Qualifications
* Trade‐qualified diesel mechanic, heavy vehicle technician, or automotive technician.
* Experience in material handling is an advantage.
* Strong problem‐solving skills and ability to work independently.
* Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical diagnostics is a bonus (training available).
* Positive attitude, reliability and a desire for a long‐term role.
