Role Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function across our Australian operations. This is an operational and strategic senior generalist role offering influence and responsibility across the full employee lifecycle.
Reporting to the Regional SVP, Legal, Compliance & HR, you will work closely with local leadership and the global regional HR teams to support business objectives and drive best practice people initiatives.
Responsibilities
* Provide expert HR advice and support to leaders and employees across the full employee lifecycle
* Manage employee relations matters including performance management, disciplinary processes, grievances and disputes
* Coach and support leaders on people management and workplace relations matters
* Ensure accurate and compliant payroll administration in partnership with Finance
* Prepare and deliver HR reporting and workforce forecasting (scheduled and ad hoc)
* Prepare and deliver corporate HR communications and correspondence
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement aligned to company values
* Partner with leaders to optimise workforce capability and organisational effectiveness
* Support managers with learning and development initiatives
* Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline to support future growth
* Lead or contribute to special projects and strategic initiatives
Candidate Profile
You will bring:
* A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline
* Minimum 10 years' experience in a senior HR generalist role, ideally with people management responsibility
* Proven experience using HRIS platforms (Workday highly regarded)
* Experience in a global or US-listed organisation highly regarded
* Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
* Strong organisational and time management capability
* Flexibility to work across time zones as required
