Senior Payroll Leadership Opportunity
This role is ideal for a seasoned payroll professional seeking to elevate their career. As a Senior Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for leading the team responsible for processing the fortnightly payrun, resolving client enquiries and executing complex payroll transactions.
You will be accountable for taking ownership of and driving the fortnightly payrun processing, including Superannuation reporting and utilising performance metrics to ensure the delivery of efficient and effective payroll services.
The ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years end-to-end payroll experience from large and complex payroll environments. You will need to have exceptional communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

* Lead the team responsible for processing the fortnightly payrun, resolving client enquiries and executing complex payroll transactions.
* Take ownership of and drive the fortnightly payrun processing, including Superannuation reporting and utilising performance metrics to ensure the delivery of efficient and effective payroll services.
* Assist with monitoring and assessing processes through the utilisation of tools and systems, implementing corrective actions accordingly.
* Serve as a point of escalation and technical expertise to resolve complex payroll matters, ensuring compliance and accurate advice to the team and stakeholders.
* Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to optimise payroll processes, systems, and service delivery, leveraging innovative technologies and practices.
* Assist with maintaining payroll governance, ensuring proper approvals and documentation in accordance with organisational policies and procedures.
About You
* A minimum of 5 years end-to-end payroll experience from large and complex payroll environments.
* Exceptional communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
