Service Crew - Underground Mining
Pajingo | Residential 7/7 Roster - must reside in Charters Towers
Attractive hourly rate + super + bonuses
Join a high-performing underground team at our well-established mine site. We're seeking experienced Service Crew to support the installation, maintenance and upgrade of essential mine services.
About the Role:
As a Serviceperson, you'll play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of underground services including air, water, ventilation and pumping systems. Working closely with operational personnel and your shift supervisor, you'll contribute to the daily functionality of the mine site.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install and maintain mine air, water, and ventilation services to working areas.
* Assist with installation of cable bolt ground support when required.
* Carry out manual and check scaling to maintain safe working conditions.
* Complete assigned tasks and associated paperwork accurately.
* Actively contribute to safety improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills & Experience:
Essential:
* 2-3 years underground mining experience.
* Minimum 6 months in a Service Crew or similar role.
* Working at Heights
* Minimum 'C' Class Drivers Licence
* Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
* Ability to work safely, prioritise tasks and follow procedures.
* Team-oriented with a proactive attitude and willingness to adapt.
