Supported Living Facilitator | Disability Services, NDIS

* Employment Term: Casual
* Location: Ipswich & Surrounding Suburbs
* Remuneration: $43.23 p/hr + Super + NFP Salary Packaging (save tax and increase your take home pay)

Your part in our UnitingCare team

* Work in partnership with the person being supported, their family and informal support networks, to attain the hopes and aspirations they have established for their lives
* Provide support to people in their everyday living situations, including personal care as identified, with an emphasis on choice, enhancing quality of life
* Participate in the development, implementation and review of individual plans that focus on the life hopes and aspirations of people
* Enable people to attain personal autonomy over their own lives and the services which they receive
* Recognise and uphold the right to respect, privacy, dignity and confidentiality of the person being supported and their family


What makes a difference for us?

* Able to work effectively with others in a team-oriented environment and provide excellent support to clients and co-workers
* Being flexible (able to work varied hours and days) and reliable to meet the needs of the people we support
* Able to effectively communicate in spoken and written English
* Experience working in the Disability, Aged and Community sector is ideal but not essential – as long as you have positive attitude and a willingness to learn
* A current NDIS Worker Screening check and Blue Card – don't worry if you don't have one, as we can help you apply prior to employment
* Open Drivers License
* Current CPR and First Aid Certificate (required before you start)
