We are looking for a Technical Trainer to be based in Kilburn to provide training, assessment, and certification of employees and contractors in accordance with relevant standards.

Responsibilities
* Delivery of Certificate IV in Train Driving training, covering subjects such as Safeworking, Shunting, Train examination, and daily driver tasks.
* Delivery of Engine & Airbrake Training.
* Use technology like Virtual Reality (and potentially driving simulators in the future) to enhance training delivery in a safe, controlled environment.
* Assist operations with on‑job assessments where required.
* Provide support and field instruction, coaching, and guidance for rail operations trainees.
* Help determine training needs of drivers to identify opportunities for process improvement and ultimately improve the effectiveness of training.
Qualifications
* Certificate IV in Train Driving or equivalent.
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or willingness to undertake the qualification).
* Rail industry training experience.
