The primary objective of this role is to provide technical guidance and assistance to development teams, ensuring they meet high standards in their work. This involves collaborating with senior leaders to establish development best practices, such as software development life cycles, security protocols, and technical advancements.
This position requires close working relationships with stakeholders, including Heads of Engineering, to standardize metrics and ensure data-driven decision-making. You'll be responsible for maintaining proper documentation, monitoring systems, and internal controls related to platform configurations and updates.
You will serve as a key technical contact for new software implementations, advising projects and architects on suitable technologies and design approaches. A strong understanding of tech stacks, architectural designs, and cross-functional experience with front-end, back-end, DevOps, and cloud technologies are essential for success in this role.
To excel in this position, you should have expertise in digital front-end/back-end technologies like React, AEM, iOS, and Android Native. Experience working with Agile methodologies, DevOps/CloudOps, and software development frameworks, such as Spring Boot, is also highly valued. Additionally, excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as a balanced demeanor, are necessary for effective leadership and collaboration within complex teams.
