Dispatch Coordinator / Warehouse Storeperson to join their small, supportive team of 4. This is a temp‐to‐permanent opportunity, with salary negotiable based on experience.
This is a hands‐on role combining dispatch coordination with warehouse operations and offers genuine career progression, including the potential to step into a Warehouse Manager position over time.
The Role
The role is approximately 80% dispatch focused, coordinating deliveries to customers via external transport contractors. Responsibilities include:
* Liaising with customers regarding delivery requirements
* Scheduling pickups and coordinating delivery times, addresses, and access details
* Planning delivery routes and managing transport bookings
The remaining 20% involves warehouse duties, including:
* Picking, packing, and product put‐away
* Loading and unloading trucks using a forklift
* Assisting with general warehouse operations
Most lifting is light (up to 15kg). Forklift and additional equipment training can be provided if required.
Role Details
* Hours: 6:00am - 2:00pm, Monday to Friday (38 hours per week, no weekends)
* Supportive team environment with cross‐training
About You
* Previous dispatch, logistics, or warehouse experience
* Forklift licence preferred (or willingness to obtain)
* Computer literacy; SAP experience highly regarded
* Strong communication and coordination skills
* Local transport or logistics knowledge beneficial
* Reliable, organised, and keen to grow into a leadership role
