The Byron Bay Services Club is looking for a full-time Duty Manager / Bistro Supervisor to join our team.We are seeking a highly motivated & experienced individual who has strong leadership & people management skills, remains calm under pressure, and has the capacity to manage resources across the bar, bistro, gaming, & reception areas – ensuring our patrons have an enjoyable experience.Being a supervisory role, it is imperative that the successful applicant be a problem solver, have clear communication skills, and an understanding of what hospitality is all about, particularly regarding excellent customer service.The position is hands-on, and having a friendly, positive, & approachable personality is essential.
The role will include FOH rostering for the Club's bistro and café, working with the Club Manager & Head Chef to ensure high standards of customer service, as well as a strong focus on team building, training, & motivating staff.
The role will also involve general Club supervision and responsibility for opening and closing procedures on occasion.This is a full-time 38-hour per week position.
The Club values work/life balance and offers a 9-day fortnight.We are a team of 40, with a great culture of supporting one another.
