About the role

This role offers exposure to testing, compliance and certification activities across a diverse range of electrical and electronic products. Working alongside experienced engineers, you will support technical assessments, prepare reports and compliance documentation, provide assistance to clients throughout the certification process, and continue developing your technical expertise under the guidance of senior specialists.

Key elements of the role but not limited to are:

* Assist with compliance testing and assessments across a range of electrical and electronic products
* Support senior engineers in evaluating products against EMC, electrical safety, radio and wireless standards
* Ensure all work complies with ISO/IEC 17025 and internal procedures
* Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, test records and compliance documentation
* Assist with customer projects under the guidance of senior engineers and technical specialists
* Develop an understanding of Australian and international standards and regulatory requirements
* Support the preparation of quotations and project documentation for testing and certification services
* Collaborate with experienced engineers and subject matter experts across multiple technical disciplines
* Contribute to laboratory operations, quality systems and continuous improvement initiatives
* Maintain accurate records and ensure testing activities comply with established procedures
* Participate in training and development activities to build technical and compliance expertise

Ideally you will have

* Degree‐qualified Engineer in Electronics and Communications, Physics or related technical professional
* At least 1–3 years' experience in product compliance, testing, certification or regulatory engineering
* Working knowledge of EMC, electrical safety, radio or telecommunications standards
* Good understanding of ISO/IEC 17025 and NATA accreditation requirements
* At least 1 year experience within a NATA‐accredited laboratory, certification body or similar technical environment will be advantageous
* Ability to learn and develop technical writing and reporting skills
* Good communication skills and comfortable communicating and interacting with customers in person
