Following the appointment of the previous Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to CEO, we are seeking an experienced CFO to join this purpose-led team at an exciting time for the Park. This vital leadership role provides strategic oversight and advice on the corporate services functions of the organisation including finance and procurement, records management, information technology, corporate governance and risk.
A key member of the Executive Management Team (EMT), accountable to the CEO and Board, the role provides high-level, professional and proactive advice and support to advance the organisation’s values-driven strategic objectives. Working collaboratively across the organisation, the CFO plays a critical role in translating strategy into effective operational outcomes that balance commerciality and compassion, and align with the values and purpose of this community asset.
Providing strong leadership to the Corporate Services team and fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, this is a dynamic and impactful role with broad scope.
Leading all aspects of financial management including budgeting, procurement, financial reporting and forecasting, you will ensure compliance with statutory, funding, contractual and legislative obligations. You will also bring proven capability in risk management, compliance, and technology strategy, and demonstrate a robust focus on client service excellence.
We are seeking a commercially astute and forward-thinking leader with relevant tertiary qualifications, supported by CA/CPA (or equivalent) credentials. You will bring extensive experience advising CEOs and Boards on corporate finance, business strategy and performance, coupled with a proven ability to deliver complex projects and initiatives. Experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams, sound knowledge of contemporary HR practices, and exceptional negotiation, influencing and collaboration skills are essential. Professionalism, compassion, integrity and sound commercial judgement are vital in navigating this sensitive industry.
