What you will be doing

The Corporate Applications Team Lead is a hands-on technical lead role, responsible for leading a small team of onshore and offshore members, with a key focus on supporting Finance and Supply Chain applications for a high-profile client in the Watercare industry.

This Adelaide-based role requires working on-site with the client at least two days per week. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a close-knit team, with a brilliant end customer environment. What are your key responsibilities

· Be the first escalation point for supported applications and triage incoming requests to appropriate team members.

· Monitor system availability, report service interruptions, and ensure compliance with SLA standards.

· Maintain ticket hygiene and ensure accurate time logging in accordance with company policy.

· Lead the development and maintenance of technical documentation, including knowledge base articles and support resources.

· Lead change management activities, including preparing, reviewing and presenting changes in CAB meetings.

· Provide guidance on ITIL practices and ensure effective resource utilization across the team.

· Lead regular reviews of non-standard requests, identify operational risks, and surface opportunities for additional billable work.

· Foster a high-performance culture through continuous feedback, recognition, and process improvement initiatives.

· Lead and contribute to software development initiatives by designing, coding, testing, and debugging complex components, while collaborating with team members through design reviews and technical discussions

· Provide domain expertise and technical leadership across the development lifecycle—including requirements definition, production support, and technology evaluation—while driving innovation, resolving complex challenges, and promoting best practices.

The skills you will bring

· Approximately years of relevant work experience, with a minimum of 2 in a leadership role.

· Proven experience in a client facing role with a strong understanding of stakeholder & vendor management, communication, escalation, reporting and governance.

· Technically adept with midrange or web applications.

· Intermediate level understanding of midrange deployments/platforms in enterprise environments.

· Proven experience with ITIL practices and/or certified in ITIL v3 or ITIL 4 Foundations.

· Strong proficiency in one or more software languages, particularly SQL.

· Familiarity with software development methodology and best practices.

· Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate clearly and with minimal use of technical jargon.

· Experience with finance and supply chain applications, experience with Ellipse and Oracle ERP is highly desirable.
