About The Role
We are seeking passionate individuals to provide high‐quality, person‐centred care and support to older adults living at home. This role focuses on promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life in alignment with their personal beliefs and individual care plan.
You will provide assistance with personal care and daily living tasks including meal preparation, light cleaning and laundry and support clients to engage in daily and social activities, including outings, shopping, and attending personal appointments.
Successful applicants will demonstrate strong communication skills whilst maintaining respectful and professional boundaries, including not disclosing personal matters or engaging in non-care related discussions.
Essential Skills And Attributes (selection Criteria)
* Experience working in a Home Care Setting
* Reliable with flexibility to work Monday to Friday
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* The ability to constantly display active listening and observation skills
* The ability to follow processes and instructions
* The ability to problem‐solve low to medium level of complexity issues and know when it is appropriate to escalate
* Sensitivity to issues affecting older adults.
* Commitment to advocacy and rights of older people.
