About the Role
As the
Maintenance Electrical Supervisor - Shiploading
, you will lead and develop a high-performing electrical maintenance team responsible for the safe, efficient and reliable operation of GPC's fixed plant assets. These include ship loaders, reclaim tunnels, conveyors, trippers as well as extensive electrical and control systems.
You will oversee the planning and execution of maintenance activities, ensure work is performed in line with GPC's Work Management Procedure, and contribute to continuous improvement across the Shiploading function. A strong safety focus, collaborative leadership style, and commitment to GPC's values are essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, coach and develop your electrical maintenance team, fostering a high-performance, values-driven culture.
* Plan, coordinate and supervise daily, weekly and shutdown maintenance activities, ensuring alignment with operational needs.
* Apply maintenance management systems to optimise performance, reliability and asset life.
* Identify improvement opportunities, drive innovation, and support organisational change initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety and Environment Management System requirements to achieve zero harm.
* Manage workgroup resources, support budget planning, and identify cost-saving measures.
* Maintain strong working relationships with Operations, Planning, Technical Services, Warehouse, contractors and suppliers.
About You
You are an experienced electrical trades professional with strong supervisory capability and a background in heavy industry or fixed plant environments. You empower teams, solve complex technical problems, and take pride in delivering safe, reliable and efficient outcomes.

* Experience applying maintenance management systems, tools and methodologies.
* Extensive electrical maintenance experience within heavy industry / fixed plant environments.

Qualifications Mandatory
* Electrical Trade Certificate
* C Class Driver Licence
* MSIC (or ability to obtain)
Desirable
* Diploma in Maintenance Management
* Workplace Health & Safety qualifications
* Frontline Management or Leadership certifications
