About the Role
We're looking for a Workshop Technician to join our friendly and high-performing team in Archerfield, QLD. This is a permanent, full-time role reporting to the Service Centre Manager.
You'll be responsible for repairing and calibrating electronic products. Whether you have a background as an instrument fitter, radio repair technician, or have developed strong skills working with cables, soldering, and diagnostics in another field — we'd love to hear from you.
Key responsibilities include:
* Performing bench repairs, pre-sales or pre-hire testing, calibration, software uploads, and system configuration
* Participating in ongoing training on new products and service procedures
* Maintaining tools, test equipment, and company assets in good working order
* Providing input on product condition and making recommendations for upgrades or replacements where needed
About You:
We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds who have:
* A trade qualification in Electronics or Instrumentation
* Strong technical, mechanical, and electrical aptitude
* Experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic products
* A proactive, self-directed approach to work
