Job Opportunity for Rehabilitation Consultant
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our vocational rehabilitation team in Melbourne.
The successful candidate will manage a specialist portfolio of customers, providing vocational counselling, assessment and job placement services to Injured Workers within various national insurance schemes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing a specialist portfolio of customers with diverse needs and goals
* Providing vocational counselling, assessment and job placement services
* Assisting clients through their psychosocial and medical management goals
* Completing thorough and timely rehabilitation program reports and progress updates
The ideal candidate will be a driven and energetic professional with strong verbal and written communication skills. They will have the confidence to utilise initiative to solve problems and achieve outcomes.
Requirements:
* Qualifications in an appropriate Allied Health field, such as Rehabilitation Counselling, Occupational Therapy; Psychology, Exercise Physiology etc.
* Full Professional Registration with AHPRA, ASORC, ESSA or other suitable Allied Health governing body is also a mandatory requirement.
* Experience in Occupational/Vocational Rehabilitation (highly regarded)
* Ability to proactively manage a case load and achieve outstanding results for the customer and client
* A passion for injury prevention, return to work, and the health benefits of work
* Current driver's license and motor vehicle
