Lead InVeris' Australian Operations as a Strategic Director
This is an exceptional opportunity to assume full accountability for the commercial performance and strategic direction of our operations in Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia.
* Provide visionary leadership and operational oversight across the region
* Maintain end-to-end profit-and-loss responsibility, including financial performance, forecasting, and growth delivery
* Build and manage high-value relationships with Defence, law enforcement, and government agencies
* Lead senior-level contract negotiations and represent us in public, regulatory, and industry forums
* Oversee major proposals, tenders, and procurement engagements in complex and regulated environments
* Ensure compliance with ASIC and WHS requirements and alignment with global quality and safety standards
* Drive internal leadership, staff engagement, and cultural alignment with our global values

You are a commercially confident, strategically minded leader with strong operational grounding and a collaborative leadership style. You bring:
* Significant executive leadership experience with full P&L responsibility, ideally in a medium-sized enterprise with a regional or multi-jurisdictional footprint
* A proven background in the defence, law enforcement, aerospace, government contracting, or public safety sector, with a clear understanding of public procurement frameworks and regulatory environments
* Demonstrated success leading major tenders, bids, or strategic pursuits, particularly within highly regulated industries
* Strong financial and commercial acumen, with experience overseeing forecasting, budgeting, cost controls, and performance reporting
* Exceptional people leadership capabilities with a demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, develop talent, and cultivate a high-performing, accountable workplace culture
* Experience in managing external relationships at the most senior levels, including with military clients, government stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and industry bodies
* Familiarity with ISO-certified environments and proven risk and quality management leadership
* Tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, engineering, or defence-related disciplines; additional governance or program management credentials are highly regarded
* A leadership style that is principled, inclusive, operationally grounded, and aligned with a global values-based organisation
