Responsibilities
Work directly with customers, the operations manager and other integration specialists to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.
Design and deliver lighting control solutions, energy monitoring solutions, managed networks and other automation solutions.
Read and evaluate electrical plans and specifications.
Develop single line diagrams, functional descriptions and test documentation.
Prepare lighting control databases.
Order, prepare and deliver lighting control equipment to sites.
Perform onsite programming and commissioning of lighting automation projects.
Prepare operation and maintenance manuals for projects.
Attend reactive maintenance for lighting controls when required.
Qualifications
Proven 2+ years’ experience programming C‑Bus, Dynalite, DALI, KNX, Zen Control or Modbus.
Ability to troubleshoot wiring or technology faults and communicate remedies to electricians.
Basic IP networking knowledge.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work both autonomously and within a team.
Strong work ethic.
Ability to communicate with a project team in a commercial environment.
Preferred (but not essential)
Experience designing and developing documentation for lighting automation solutions.
PDF editing tools such as Bluebeam Revu.
Design software such as AutoCAD or Microsoft Visio.
Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel.
Experience with energy metering and logging systems such as Schneider PME.
Typical Day The day involves reading and evaluating electrical plans, working directly with customers to design cost‑effective solutions, developing technical documentation, preparing databases, ordering equipment, onsite commissioning, and preparing operation & maintenance manuals. You may also attend reactive maintenance when required.
