As a Program Delivery Officer at Clarence Correctional Centre, you’ll play a vital role in reducing the risk of reoffending by delivering structured rehabilitation programs to inmates. Working within the Rehabilitation & Reintegration Team, you’ll support behaviour change through evidence-informed, trauma-aware approaches. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure programs are responsive, safe and impactful. Every day, your work will help create safer communities and support positive futures.
As a Program Delivery Officer in the Rehabilitation & Reintegration team, you’ll make a positive impact by:
Delivering approved offence-related programs to identified inmatesAssessing inmate suitability and readiness for program participationFacilitating therapeutic group sessions using structured frameworksManaging participant engagement and responding to complex behavioursPreparing accurate, evidence-based reports and maintaining OIMS recordsCollaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support reintegration outcomes

You Could Be a Great Fit If You Have
A Certificate qualification in Psychology, Criminology, Social Work, Social Sciences, Community Services or a related discipline (or relevant experience)A Certificate IV in Correctional Practice (Case Management) (or completed within the first 12 months of employment)Experience facilitating groups, ideally within correctional, welfare or institutional settingsConfidence supporting people with complex mental health or behavioural needsStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare quality reportsThe ability to remain calm, empathetic and professional in challenging situationsEligibility to obtain Corrective Services NSW clearance and complete required checks

Opened in mid-2020, this 1,700-bed state-of-the-art facility is the largest correctional Centre in Australia.
