The Role
As a Mechanical Project Design Engineer, you'll be involved in design and construct HVAC projects across commercial and high‐rise residential projects. Expect a role that's hands‐on, technical, and central to project success.
You'll be responsible for
* Participating in early tender and concept meetings.
* Completing heat load calculations, layouts, designs, and compliance checks.
* Translating conceptual ideas and value‐engineering options into practical, efficient engineered systems.
* Reviewing documentation for buildability and quality.
* Working closely with builders, internal teams, and key project stakeholders.

Selection Criteria
* 2+ years post‐grad Mechanical Design Engineer experience in HVAC (contractor or consultant background).
* A degree in Mechanical Engineering.
* Minimum 2 years of Australian HVAC mechanical engineering experience.
* Proficiency in MS Office, Bluebeam, Camel, and Revit.
* Strong communication skills and an easy ability to collaborate.
* High attention to detail and a clear understanding of mechanical contracting.
* The ability to juggle multiple projects and roll up your sleeves for both complex and simple tasks.
* A proactive, team‐focused approach.
