About the Role
As the Principal Planning Officer, you will support the performance and progress of a variety of projects and programs under Service Strategy. It is expected you will work collaboratively with the Service Strategy team and a broad range of stakeholders through productive working relationships to ensure outcomes are delivered within timeframes and to a high standard. Provide a critical program/project support role to the Manager Service Strategy supporting governance, operations, monitoring of priorities, progress, deliverables, and risks of programs and projects within the team. Supporting the monitoring of the performance and progress of projects, related tasks, subprojects, risks and outcomes, including developing and maintaining status and risk reporting and other program and project management tools. Develop a variety of documents, including briefs, presentations, reports, and other artefacts, as well as review and progress submissions for approval, adhering to the department's style guides, document management system and governance. Participate in discussions, investigations, research activities and information gathering to inform Service Strategy activities. The Principal Planning Officer reports to the Manager, Service Strategy.
