Job Title:
We are seeking a skilled Road Maintenance Worker to join our team in the Victorian Road Maintenance Contract – East Gippsland region.
This role involves undertaking planned maintenance work across various locations, working closely with the Department of Transport and Planning.
About the Role:
* Maintenance of roads, including vegetation control, graffiti removal, pot-hole repairs, edge break repairs, general fixcon work & sign installation/maintenance.
* Mobile plant operation (e.g. Rollers, skid steers, heavy rigid truck).
* Safe operation near live traffic.
* Toolbox meetings, pre-starts, risk assessments and project specific data capture.
* Inspections of Assets connected to the maintenance contract.
Key Skills:
* Vacation control experience.
* Operational knowledge of mobile plant equipment (e.g. Rollers, skid steers, heavy rigid truck).
* Ability to work safely near live traffic.
* Competent use of Skid Steers, an advantage.
* Rollers and Excavators, an advantage.
Essential Licenses/Experiences Include:
* Construction induction card.
* HR Truck licence.
* Current traffic tickets.
* Driver's License.
