Job Role: Care Support Worker
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate care professional to join our team in Port Macquarie NSW area.
The role of Care Support Worker involves delivering high-quality home help services such as general housekeeping, cleaning, meal preparation and grocery shopping, as well as providing personal care services like getting clients out of bed, showered and dressed for the day, assisting with medications, and offering social and emotional support.
You will also be required to transport clients to lifestyle activities or appointments and assist the family carer in having a break or an opportunity to do other things.
As a Care Support Worker, you will work independently and find solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to seek guidance from your manager.
Requirements include a valid Australian Driver's Licence, own insured, roadworthy vehicle, Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support or Disability, and experience of 6 months or more in a similar role that includes personal care, manual handling, hoist training and assisting with medications.
