Location: Fulham Correctional Centre

Role Type: Part Time (0.6 FTE/ 3 days a week), Ongoing

Remueration: starting at $83,367.00 plus 12% super (based on qualifications and teaching experience)

This is your chance to make a lasting impact by delivering the Mumgu-dhal program - a unique initiative designed to strengthen cultural identity, build confidence, and open pathways to education and rehabilitation.

Preference will be given to candidates who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, or who have strong alliances and experience working closely with Indigenous communities. This is essential to deliver the Mumgu-dhal tyama-tiyt community, connection and pathways courses, which are designed to support learners in strengthening their cultural identity and re-engaging with education.

What We’re Looking For

Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40110 / TAE40116 / TAE40122) or currently working towardsStrong understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories, and contemporary issues.Demonstrated experience working with Koorie communities or in culturally inclusive settings (education settings preferable).Teaching experience, preferably amongst Indigenous communities.
