THE ROLE
Based at our Townsville store, this part-time sales and design role involves working 59 hours over a fortnight, including Tuesday to Saturday. Key responsibilities include:
* Providing expert customer service and product advice to retail and trade customers in the showroom, as well as working on lighting design projects
* Building the design business by proactively seeking project opportunities from retail and trade customers
* Nurturing client relationships throughout the entire design process
* Reading and interpreting house and electrical plans to create inspirational lighting designs tailored to customer needs and budgets
* Contributing to the showroom's presentation through merchandising, promotional setups, and general housekeeping
* Keeping up-to-date with the latest technology and design trends
ABOUT YOU
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
* Previous experience in retail, achieving sales targets, and working towards budgets
* Strong communication skills to genuinely connect with customers
* An energetic and enthusiastic approach
* Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
* Strong attention to detail
* Experience in lighting design or interior design studies is advantageous but not essential; your passion for lighting and interior design must shine through
