(Nurse Grade 1)4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading*****% employer contribution to superannuationPlus Salary Sacrificing options may be availableAbout your opportunityThe Assistant in Nursing works under the supervision and direction of the Registered Nurse, who acts in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia's decision-making framework.The Assistant in Nursing assists and provides nursing support to the Registered Nurse and Enrolled Nurse and provides care for patients and families.Requirements:Highly Desirable: Applicants who meet one of the following criteria are considered highly desirable:Hold a relevant Certificate III in Aged Care, Health Service Assistant or equivalent, orSuccessful completion of the first semester full-time equivalent Diploma of Nursing course including all theoretical and clinical competencies, orSuccessful completion of the first year full-time equivalent undergraduate Bachelor of Nursing course including all theoretical and clinical competenciesAppointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster, which will include participation in an on-call roster.This position requires the applicant to possess an appropriate license to operate a Class C (car) motor vehicle.National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Check: As a Health Care worker in Queensland Health who engages in risk-assessed roles, you must hold a current disability check (Yellow Card or Yellow Card Exemption) or a NDIS worker screening check, in accordance with Part 5 of the Disability Services Act **** (Qld).
