About the Role

Our People team is seeking a dedicated strategic HR Partner to play a crucial role in advancing our firm's culture, technical expertise, talent optimisation, and workforce agility.

Reporting to the Head Business Partnering, Commercial, you will collaborate closely with Practice Group Leader and the Business Services Group Leaders of your client groups as well as the People team leads including; Head of Learning & Development, Head of Inclusion & Experience and Head of Talent Acquisition to:

* Conduct comprehensive workforce analytics to forecast staffing needs and skill gaps, incorporating industry trends and future firm requirements. Lead initiatives to create a responsive, agile workforce ready for evolving legal challenges.
* Champion a holistic performance review strategy, integrating feedback mechanisms, peer reviews, and self-assessment tools. Advocate for a culture of feedback, guiding managers in best practices for constructive and motivational performance conversations.
* Drive initiatives to understand employee aspirations, skills, and growth trajectories.
* Lead the annual remuneration review process, coordinating with Practice Group Leaders, analysing market benchmarks, and ensuring equitable and competitive compensation for this group.
* Assist the People team in delivering key projects and initiatives; ensuring effective implementation and support.
* Address performance issues with a focus on employee wellbeing, providing resources and support to ensure personal and professional growth.

About you

* Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as Human Resources, Business, or a related qualification.
* Proven expertise in employee relations, HR analytics, technology, and HR practices.
* Key to your success is your strong influencing, leadership and decision-making skills and the ability to work with cross functional teams to execute programs and build and maintain effective working relationships, particularly the ability to earn the confidence and trust of key stakeholders.
* Strong influencing and negotiation capability.
* Highly organised, able to plan and prioritise work to meet key deliverables.
* An ability to work through problems and exercise sound judgement on when to lift.
* A professional, client-focused, and ethical approach.
* A resilient nature with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
