Responsibilities
* Deliver projects from conception to final completion within HSE, quality, budget and program requirements.
* Manage and develop internal and client relationships.
* Prepare reports and budgets for senior management and stakeholders.
* Provide clear leadership and management of project teams and promote safety as a hands-on manager.
* Understand client needs, expectations and aims and strive to exceed them.
Qualifications
* Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
* 10+ years relevant experience in civil construction, including a minimum of 2 years at Project Manager level.
* Excellent team leadership ability.
* Excellent time management, prioritisation and self-management.
* Excellent competency in project delivery and financial reporting.
* Strong numeracy and computer literacy with thorough understanding of contract administration, procurement and subcontracting principles.
* Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
* Extensive knowledge of government specifications, Australian standards, contract administration, procurement and subcontracting principles.
* Ability to continually challenge assumptions and methods and recommend initiatives.
* Driver's licence and Construction Industry White Card.
* Current Australian Working Rights.
