Role description
IDHS is seeking an experienced and motivated Quality and Education Nurse to play a key role in driving clinical excellence, strengthening workforce capability, and supporting high-quality, safe care across our organisation.
Reporting to the Director of Nursing and the Nurse Unit Manager, the Quality and Education Nurse will:
* Lead, develop, coordinate, and deliver structured learning and education programs for staff across IDHS.
* Take a leading role in the Acute Quality Program, supporting continuous improvement and evidence-based practice.
* Work closely with senior managers and clinical teams to monitor, support, and enhance the safety, quality, and experience of care.
* Coordinate quality activities to ensure the organisation meets and maintains accreditation requirements.
* Lead quality and education projects that strengthen partnerships with other health providers and improve care pathways.
About you
* Certificate in Nursing or Bachelor of Health Science (Nursing) or other relevant qualification
* Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse in the State of Victoria and holding a current practicing certificate
* Clinical practice experience in acute / aged care minimum 5 years.
* Strong clinical experience
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
