Client Service Manager Job Description
This role involves managing client relationships and providing exceptional service to meet business objectives.
* Manage all administrative client queries in a timely and efficient manner.
* Client on-boarding, including preparation of account documentation and creation of client records.
* Maintain client accounts and records, adhering to current AML/CTF, KYC Regulations.
* Allocate and assist with IPO and corporate action management.
* Prepare client valuations, asset allocations, and reporting as required.
* Assist in client asset transfers, both domestically and internationally.
* Process and monitor stock settlements, following up with clients regarding outstanding funds.
* Prioritize competing adviser requests in a fast-paced environment.
* Provide ad hoc translation for marketing purposes.
Skills:
* High attention to detail.
* Strong literacy and numeracy ability.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong organisational skills.
* Management experience.
* Fundamental knowledge of financial advice process, markets, and industry.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Display a high level of resilience and strong ability to prioritise tasks.
* Desirable tertiary qualification in Finance, Business or Economics.
* RG146 – if not held already, a requirement to study towards.
* Three plus years of experience within wealth management, stockbroking, or financial planning.
* Understanding of Broking Platforms (Domestic and International).
* Understanding of Portfolio management platforms (e.g. Praemium) will be an added advantage.
1. Facilitation of all administrative client queries.
2. Client on-boarding, including preparation of account documentation, creation of client record in their systems.
3. Arrange and assist with maintenance of client account and records, in line with current AML/CTF, KYC Regulations.
4. IPO and corporate action allocation management.
5. Preparation of client valuations, asset allocations and reporting as required.
6. Assist in client asset transfers, including cash, both domestically and internationally.
7. Process and monitor stock settlements, including follow up with clients regarding outstanding funds.
8. Prioritise competing adviser requests in a fast paced environment.
9. Provide ad hoc translation for marketing purposes.
10. Establish and maintain relationships with other internal stakeholders and departments.
11. Participate in department cross-training as required.
12. Participate in process development initiatives to increase efficiencies.
13. Proactively notify client/s and FA/s of any issues recommending a solution and timeframe.
* US and UK tax forms like W8BEN and CRS (preferable).
* Opt In, FDS and Client Consent (ie FOFA) forms (preferable).
