Plastering Supplies Tasmania – Launceston, TAS

Full Time | Monday–Friday

Plastering Supplies Tasmania is a locally owned Tasmanian business supplying plaster, insulation and building products to customers statewide. As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a friendly, organised and customer-focused Customer Service & Administration Officer to join our Launceston team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting customers, staying on top of administration, and helping keep the office running smoothly. You'll play an important part in customer communication while also assisting the Manager with documentation, systems, workplace safety processes, and pricing support.

About You

* Minimum 2 years' experience in an administration and/or customer service role
* Confident, professional communicator (phone, email, face-to-face)
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Confident in Excel, including creating spreadsheets, tables, and basic formulas
* Intermediate Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables for spreadsheets, formulas, and basic data analysis
* Comfortable assisting with pricing structures, quotes and cost calculations
* Comfortable preparing documents, templates and written correspondence
* Confident using computers (Microsoft Office essential)
* Able to work independently while contributing to a supportive team
* Experience in a trade or supply environment is helpful but not essential

What You'll Be Doing

* Providing friendly and professional customer service via phone, email and at the counter
* Processing quotes, invoices and customer orders
* Managing incoming emails and general office administration
* Assisting the Manager with workplace safety documentation, policies and compliance records
* Supporting pricing, cost calculations, and the creation of pricing structures for customers
* Creating and maintaining accurate records and internal documents
* Supporting day-to-day office operations to ensure everything runs smoothly
* Escalating customer enquiries or issues when required

What You'll Need

* At least 2 years' administrative experience
* Strong Excel skills, including spreadsheets, formulas, and basic data analysis
* Confident in supporting pricing structures and quote creation
* Experience supporting pricing structures and quote creation with any pricing experience preferred
* Full Australian working rights
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* High level of organisation and time management
* Experience with Accrivia or a similar administration / order management system highly regarded
* Willingness to undergo police checks if required
