Your new role
In this role, you’ll take ownership of a diverse client portfolio while leading and developing a team of accountants. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to clients, delivering high‑level tax and business advisory services, while also playing a key role in shaping culture, performance, and growth within the firm.
* Manage and grow a portfolio of business services clients
* Act as the primary contact and trusted advisor to clients
* Review financial statements, tax returns and compliance work
* Deliver high-level tax and business advisory across a range of industries
* Identify opportunities to add value and expand client relationships
* Lead, mentor and develop a team of accountants
* Oversee workflow, WIP management, billing and deadlines
* Drive quality, performance and a positive team culture
What you'll need to succeed
* Full Australian working rights
* CA or CPA qualified
* Minimum 5+ years’ experience in public practice accounting
* Proven experience managing client relationships and reviewing work
* Strong technical expertise across Australian tax, CGT, GST, FBT and Division 7A
* Confident communicator with strong advisory capability
* Leadership experience, or ready to take the next step
* Experience with Xero and strong Excel skills
* Proactive, solution‑focused and client‑oriented mindset
