What you'll be doing
The Hospital in the Home (HITH) Physiotherapist (PT) is responsible for the provision of high quality, patient centred, evidence informed physiotherapy services that promote identified patient health outcomes. The PT will assess, plan, implement and evaluate the physiotherapy care plan in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary HITH healthcare Service.
The PT will provide clinical services to HITH patients, including those with complex care needs requiring advanced practice skills and the application of professional knowledge and judgement.
The PT will exercise in-depth professional judgement when required in resolving problems and managing cases where principles, procedures, techniques and methods require expansion, adaptation and /or modification.
The PT provides clinical supervision for less experienced staff, and contributes to the planning, implementation, evaluation and reporting of HITH healthcare services to meet required Accreditation Standards and WSLHD Executive Strategic Plan.
Please note: A person who is not an Australian citizen or a permanent resident is only eligible for temporary employment for a period not longer than the duration of their current visa or a period not shorter than the duration of the advertised position.
Essential Criteria:
Qualification: Degree or Diploma recognised by Physiotherapy Board of Australia
Registration: Physiotherapy Australia / AHPRA
