Role: Social Inclusion Coordinator WA
Location: Covering services across Western Australia (Noongar peoples in the south-west, Yamatji peoples in the mid-west, the Western Desert peoples in the central and eastern parts)

Join our team at Goodstart as a Social Inclusion Coordinator.
Responsibilities
- Work with state leadership teams, Goodstart centres, government agencies, and other not-for-profit organisations to achieve inclusion for children, families and employees.
- Support children experiencing vulnerability due to developmental delay, disability, trauma, cultural diversity, or other risk factors.
- Enhance early childhood outcomes through specialist inclusion advice, support, and coaching to centre teams.
- Support children with additional needs in centres across Western Australia, travelling to services to ensure access and meaningful participation in early learning.
- Provide skilled learning to Centre Directors, Educators, and other Goodstart staff on inclusive practices in ECEC.
- Contribute to partnerships with other not-for-profit organisations and government departments to maximise the impact of social inclusion strategies within local communities.
- Contribute to long-term planning and innovation across Western Australia to help Goodstart achieve its goal of Inclusion for Everyone for children, families, and employees.

You’ll bring to the table
Essential
- Bachelor qualifications in early childhood education and/or health or welfare related discipline
- Experience in leading change and delivering inclusive services in an education or health care setting
- Experience at a senior management level in an early childhood education or health care setting
- Comprehensive knowledge of community and government networks/resources and ability to develop partnerships, services and programs
- Knowledge of policies, frameworks and funding supports for children and families including the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standard, Inclusion Support Programme, National Disability Insurance Scheme and relevant state-based funding
Desirable
- Graduate or postgraduate qualifications specialising in inclusive practice
- Experience operating within government regulated and legislative environments
- Experience managing complex projects
- Experience developing, implementing and evaluating strategic plans
