Communicationswill be a member of the Systems Engineering team that is responsible for the implementation and support of our global IT infrastructure.The IT infrastructure is based on a hybrid implementation of Azure/Office 365 and on‐prem services that support a highly mobile work force across 22 global offices.The ideal candidate will be familiar with the implementation of leading‐edge Office 365, Azure technologies spanning the M365 E5 suite of services and Apple environments.Job responsibilities will require a functional understanding of the following technologies:Azure and M365 administrationEntra ID – SSO, MFA, conditional access, PIM (Privileged Identity Management), Entra Connect, app registrationIntune – Windows Autopilot, Windows updates, configuration profiles, compliance policies, and app deploymentActive Directory and group policy managementMicrosoft SentinelExchange Online (or other email system)iRing Mac device managementVirtual machine management (Hyper‐V, VMware, or Azure IaaS)PowerShell scriptingServer monitoring and alerting (SCOM, Azure Monitor, SolarWinds, etc.)Enterprise and Cloud backup systemsFamiliarity with Zero Trust principlesIn addition to direct management of these technologies, the Lead Systems Engineer will be responsible for and participate in the following:Coordination and execution of Systems Engineering projectsMaintain network and system documentationSolve complex technical issues, both independently as well as with collaboration with colleagues and vendorsMonthly server and client patchingTier 3 escalations and break/fixBuild roadmaps, recommend new technologies, develop processesResearch industry trends and future‐state technologies and incorporate that knowledge to future‐prove our infrastructureRecommend IT policies and standards associated with IT operationsParticipate in the design and implementation of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plansVendor relationship and engagement management, and initiate capital purchasesServer warranty contracts, Microsoft EA annual true‐ups, and other service contractsParticipation in the Cybersecurity Incident Response PlanMentorship of junior members of the team by providing training, documentation, and technical on‐the‐job coaching5+ years of experience is recommendedEqual Opportunity and Inclusion are core to who we are.
