**Visitor Experience Officer**
In this dynamic role, you will play a pivotal frontline position, contributing to the realisation of Experience Melbourne branch's vision by actively engaging and connecting visitors to the unparalleled Melbourne experience. This role will be based at the Visitor Centre and Cooks' Cottage in Fitzroy Garden.
We are looking for someone with exceptional customer service and interpersonal prowess to seamlessly interact with our visitors, offering tours and valuable information on Melbourne & Regional Victoria. You will undergo comprehensive training and be scheduled across a 7-day roster to ensure uninterrupted operations. You'll play a key role in in maintaining retail displays, managing stock levels, and ensuring accurate cash handling, including EFTPOS sales.**What you will bring to City of Melbourne**
- Demonstrated commitment to excellence in customer service and well developed interpersonal skills
- Confident verbal communication skills when presenting to small or large groups, with guiding experience advantageous.
- Flexibility to work rostered shifts, across a 7 day roster
- General knowledge of Melbourne and Regional Victoria is desirable
- Previous experience in a Visitor Services environment or similar is desirable.
