Transforming Global Supply Chains as a Supply Chain Analyst
We are seeking a skilled Supply Chain Analyst to drive business growth and accelerate innovation in Amazon's Direct Imports Team.
This role offers end-to-end business ownership of import supply chain processes, from manufacturer to fulfillment center availability. You will develop strategic inventory management solutions to enhance customer experience, optimize sales, and maximize margins.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support instock functions with reporting and analysis, including forecasting, ordering, capacity management, instock rates, and unhealthy inventory management.
2. Collaborate with ISMs on import ordering strategies, ensuring Amazon meets optimal domestic and import sourcing mixes.
3. Drive buying automation and system auditing initiatives.
4. Pursue supply chain optimization and defects reduction through collaboration with operations teams.
5. Own key performance indicators such as vendor import share, out-of-stock percentages, vendor lead time, fill rate, unhealthy inventory, and forecast accuracy for import selection.
About the Role
As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will:
* Analyze main KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and define action plans to resolve them.
* Develop reports to support business decisions.
* Automate repetitive tasks to improve team efficiency.
* Deliver goals in POs submitted, confirmed, and forecasting accuracy.
Requirements
1. 2+ years of demonstrated ability to plan and collaborate with commercial/finance stakeholders.
2. 2+ years of retail, project management, supply chain, inventory management, sourcing, finance, or consulting experience.
3. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required.
4. Strong analytical skills: proficiency in Excel (macro), SQL, building reports, and working with large datasets.
5. Fluent in English.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Experience in international supply chain/import challenges, preferably in retail.
2. Direct imports or long-mile logistics experience.
3. Purchasing or inventory management experience in e-commerce or retail.
4. BI experience, including building reports and dashboards.
5. Process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma.
