IT Project Officer
The role of IT Project Officer is a key contributor to the success of our projects.
This includes supporting the Project Manager and project team in maintaining and controlling project reports, records, and documentation. The IT Project Officer will also be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing a project reporting calendar for the Project, as well as maintaining up-to-date Project documentation, producing scheduled and ad hoc reporting, and managing Project governance and assurance activities.
Liaising with members of the Project team and ICT providers to obtain status updates for the purpose of updating logs for tracking and status reporting is another critical aspect of this role.
Balancing work priorities and project activities to achieve deliverables and deadlines is essential in this position.
Establishing and maintaining effective communication within the wider stakeholder groups to provide Portfolio and project updates is vital.
Compiling monthly a Portfolio report for Executive Governance Committee is an additional responsibility of this role.
Supporting members of the Project team with general documentation, including records of meetings, reports, presentations, SharePoint etc., is required.
Assisting in the planning, development, and implementation of OHS measures is also part of this job.
Undertaking special projects or reports required by the Manager on a wide range of issues is an opportunity for professional growth.
Requirements:
* Tertiary degree in Information Technology or relevant field discipline.
* Substantial experience working as Project Officer in large complex environment.
* Experience maintaining Project Assets using project software (Jira, MS-Project, Excel, Word).
* Demonstrated effectiveness in a role which interacts with key stakeholders.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent rapport building and customer negotiation skills.
* Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Knowledge or experience in structured project management methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2, PMBOK, etc.).
* Experience working in a healthcare environment is highly desirable.
* Experience working in software project.
